FIRE & SAFETY SERVICES
Fire alarms Systems
We design, supply, instal, commission, maintain and service fire alarm systems in accordance with the British Standards BS5839. Services include:
- Weekly Testing
- Quarterly Certified System Test
- Annual System Certified Test
- Annual Fire Evacuation Procedures
Emergency Lighting SystemsWe design, supply, instal, commission maintain and service emergency lighting systems in accordance with the British Standard BS5266. Services include:
- Monthly Functional Checks
- Six Monthly Certified 3 Hour Discharge Test
- Full schedule of all emergency lights
Portable Appliance Testing (PAT)Greg & Co. offer testing of all portable appliances that are the responsibility of the landlord. We label each appliance with a dated tag and can produce detailed inventory of the appliances tested.
Electrical Install Condition Report (EICR)
Greg & Co carry out Electrical Inspection Condition Reports (EICR) for all fixed electrical services in your building in accordance with the British Standard BS7671:2008. For commercial installations we can agree a portion of the electrical installation to be tested each year provided we achieve a 100% test of all the system during the agreed term. We offer contracts for fixed electrical wiring services for larger installations over 4 to 5 years.
The condition report we provide will be presented in both hard and electronic copies and will provide a detailed recommendation of remedial works were required.
Fire extinguisher SystemsWe service and install Fire Extinguishers and equipment in accordance with the British Standards BS5306.
Lighting & EarthingGreg & Co. undertake annual inspections and condition reports for lighting protection systems.
Continued Compliance Notifications
As a landlord or business it’s vital to keep your property certified at all times. Greg & Co understand the importance of this and have designed and built our own bespoke management system. The Greg & Co Management System (GMS) developed and launched in 2006. Over the years it has been tailored to cater for businesses’ and clients’ needs. The system notifies the client and/or landlord by email that an inspection is coming up. Greg & Co will then follow up the email with a phone call in order to ensure compliance is met at all times and our clients’ assets continually protected.
The GMS also has some unique features detailed below:
- Historic information on every job attended
- Materials and time spent on each job request
- Cost break-down
- Recommendations and quotations sent for further work
- All of these reports can be printed and or emailed and sent to a client in seconds.
